Snow Day Gentle Mornings & My Everyday Oatmeal Bowl
The world outside my window is white today.

It’s a Monday morning, but everything is closed. Roads are quiet. The wind has softened. There’s no rush to be anywhere. Just a slow, calm snow day — the kind that invites you to breathe a little deeper and move a little slower.

These are my favorite mornings. A fire glowing. A warm house. A cozy kitchen. A moment to myself before the day begins.

And on mornings like this, I always make the same thing.

My Everyday Oatmeal Bowl.

It’s simple. It’s nourishing. It’s become such a steady part of my weekday routine that it feels like a little act of self-care in a bowl.

Rolled oats simmered until creamy. A splash of lactose-free milk. Chia and flax for fiber and omega-3s. Crunchy walnuts and pumpkin seeds for healthy fats and minerals. Banana and blueberries for natural sweetness and antioxidants. A tiny drizzle of maple syrup — just enough to feel like a treat.

What I love most about this bowl is how satisfying it is. It keeps me full for hours. No mid-morning crash. No reaching for snacks. Just steady energy, a happy belly, and the feeling that I’ve done something kind for my body.

It’s:

  • High in fiber
  • Rich in heart-healthy fats
  • Full of antioxidants
  • Gentle on blood sugar
  • Naturally sweetened
  • Wholesome and comforting

Exactly the kind of breakfast I want on a quiet snow-day morning.

Slow mornings. Warm bowls. Simple routines that feel good.

That’s what the Gentle Mornings Collection is all about.

And today felt like the perfect day to introduce it 🤍🥣
